The State's China Office supports companies in Salzburg in establishing contacts to and from China and is constantly endeavouring to intensify bilateral relations in all areas. The "China Business Club" has been an important link in this endeavour since 2005.

The 33rd edition focussed in particular on the new framework conditions for Salzburg companies against the backdrop of current economic and global developments. For Governor Wilfried Haslauer, one thing is certain: "For the many Salzburgers who are connected to the People's Republic in the areas of business, tourism and culture, the regular interdisciplinary dialogue, supplemented by expert presentations, is of great importance. This is the only way to maintain and further deepen the existing good relations with China."
